The vines are lush with grapes and music fills the air (whether it is all in my head, or there are festivals taking place). Once you roll into June-July, all of the grass turns golden and the hills glow in the sunset. June is one of my favorite months for the abundance of roses. Not only are there stunning planted gardens, but the wild flowers! California poppies are endless! The end of May is when the roses really start to emerge. In April-May, the flowers are all starting to bloom. As I drive from one side of a county to another, I can look out my window and admire a sea of yellow. “In about mid-February, the mustard flowers start to pop up in-between the sleeping grapevines. You definitely should still think about your rain plan, but I, more often than not, have rain plans that I never have to use.
